Dominic Cooper is an English actor best known for portraying comic book characters on AMC’s Preacher and in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where he appeared in Captain America: The First Avenger and the ABC series Agent Carter, among other Marvel productions. Cooper appeared in the films Mamma Mia! and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.

He appeared as as Latif Yahia / Uday Hussein in the 2011 English-language Belgian–Dutch film The Devil’s Double. In 1987, Latif Yahia is summoned to act as a “fedai” (“body double” or political decoy) for Uday Hussein. Latif undergoes minor cosmetic surgery to enhance his resemblance to Uday and practices impersonating the young Hussein’s demeanor. As the First Gulf War begins, Uday declares, “The Age of the Sheikhs is Over!” Saddam’s son, Latif, drifts away from Uday and begins an affair with Sarrab. Saddam arrives at the hospital where Uday has overdosed on sleeping pills and beats him nearly to death.
