He is a New Jersey-based television broadcaster who was the Republican nominee for Congress in the state’s 12th congressional district in 2004. He chaired the College Republican National Committee from 1993 to 1995 and hosted Chasing News. Spadea is a former Republican congressional candidate who became a supporter of former President Donald Trump. He has disseminated conspiracy theories regarding the 2020 election and vaccines. Spadea was chosen Chairman of the College Republican National Committee. During his tenure, the Republican National Committee cut financing to the College Republicans.
