She is most known for being one of the show’s original co-hosts on The View on ABC, where she appeared for nine seasons from 1997–1998 to 2005–2006.

Jones’ nine-season stay on The View was occasionally marred by controversy. According to ABC, she alienated fans with her constant self-promotion.
