Malambri began his acting career in 2007 as a guest performer on episodes such as How I Met Your Mother, Criminal Minds, and Party Down. Later the same year, he appeared in the military science fiction picture Universal Soldiers as Lt Ash. Malambri got the lead role of Luke in Jon M. Chu’s 3D dance film Step Up 3D in 2010, with Sharni Vinson. He also co-starred with Andrea Bowen in the Hallmark Channel film After The Fall as Will Dutton. In 2011, he appeared in ABC Family’s The Lying Game as Eduardo, a choreographer who falls romantically entangled with one of his students. He played supporting roles in Clear History and Surrogates. Along with Lacey Chabert and Vivica A. Fox, he played Duncan in the family comedy film A Holiday Heist. Malambri co-starred as Joey D’Amico in the PixL TV film The Cookie Mobster in 2014, opposite Pippa Black and Mackenzie Foy. In 2016, he co-starred with Leah Pipes in the PixL TV film Change of Heart as Andy. In 2018, he appeared as a guest star on TNT’s Animal Kingdom.
