On Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, he plays Father Blackwood. He is the ex-High Priest of the Church of Night who fled after disobeying the Dark Lord’s command to bow down to Sabrina Spellman and poison the whole Coven.
Father Blackwood is a warlock who appears to be in his forties. He is tall and toned, with green eyes, black hair, and long claw-like nails. Blackwood dresses in Puritanical black and usually carries a walking stick with the head of a rabbit engraved on the handle. During the Church of Night’s main rites, Father Blackwood wears witch regalia, which is diabolical clergy dress in every way.
The High Priest of the Church of Night, Faustus Blackwood, is a machiavellian warlock with a strong demonic religion and a narrow-minded policy. He is good at duping young witches by presenting false hopes and certainties as free will and self-empowerment. Blackwood believes in male superiority and has debated sex differences with Madam Satan. He is lustful and uses witch confessions for sexual deeds in order to get to Sabrina. His desires for a male successor have resulted in miscarriages, harming their relationship, as Nick believes witches cannot love.
Richard Coyle A.D. The Bible Continues
He appeared as Caiaphas in the American biblical drama television miniseries A.D. The Bible Continues. The tale picks up directly after the events of The Bible miniseries and subsequently the Son of God film, beginning with Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection and continuing through the first 10 chapters of the Acts of the Apostles. A.D. was canceled by NBC on July 3, 2015. After one season, The Bible Continues.
