Janiot also writes a weekly column for CNN en Espaol RADIO, the network’s Spanish-language radio news service.

She has traveled to Latin America to cover major world events live, including elections in Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Peru, and Venezuela. When former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was elected, she reported live from Gaza and Israel. She has covered a number of papal visits to Latin America as well as Ibero-American summits. Janiot most recently visited New York to cover the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. Janiot has also interviewed the majority of Latin America’s leaders, including Fidel Castro and Augusto Pinochet.
