Nick Vujicic is a Christian evangelist and motivational speaker who was born without limbs as a result of an extremely rare disorder known as Tetra-amelia syndrome or autosomal recessive tetra Amelia. Tetra amelia syndrome is a congenital/birth defect caused by mutations in the WNT3 gene with which there is absence of all four limbs.
His motivational talks are mostly based on providing his audience with inspiration to accomplish great things in their lives. Despite his physical inabilities, Nick does not bemoan his limitations. Rather, he is regularly out speaking to people on hope in love as well as his faith in Jesus Christ.

Nick is an Australian also with American nationality. He was born in Melbourne, Australia with his Serbian parents having migrated to Australia from Yugoslavia. They are known as Dusanka Vujicic and Borislav Vujicic.
After birth, Nick’s condition was a huge shock to his parents with his mother taking the revelation quite hard as she refused to hold or even see him when he was brought to her. It took her a while to recover from the shock and both she and Nick’s father accepted their child holding the belief that God had a plan for their son.
