Roberts originally turned into a DJ on the College of Auckland’s 95bFM radio broadcast in the mid-1990s. On 3 May 2010 Ruin got back to his Drive opening as Matt Heath assumed control over the morning meal show. Destruction left the show on 3 December 2010. He got back to radio in 2012 on standard stone station Hauraki weeknights 7-10 pm. Devastation got back to 95bFM from 8 May 2017 to 3 May 2019 for a third stretch as the breakfast show has.

During the nineties, he moved into TV on New Zealand’s fleeting MTV channel with the 30-moment live work day night magazine style show Ruin with his 95bFM collaborator Jeremy Wells. This show moved to television 2 in an extended week-by-week design when MTV shut down.
