Maureen Osborne Flannigan is a documentary filmmaker and American actor. Flannigan made her television debut as a guest star in an episode of Highway To Heaven. She is best remembered for her role as teenager Evie Ethel Garland in the fantasy sitcom Out of This World, which aired from 1987 to 1991.

At the age of 11, she was found by a Mattel advertising representative while on the beach with her father. She has appeared in Macbeth, The Crucible, and William Saroyan’s The Cave Dwellers, as well as directing Beth Henley’s Am I Blue? She was also a part of the USC ski team. Flannigan made her television debut as a guest star in an episode of Highway To Heaven. Two years later, in 1987, Flannigan got the part of Evie Garland in the first-run syndicated children’s comedy series Out of This World, alongside Donna Pescow and Joe Alaskey. She remained with the show until its discontinuation in 1991.
Flannigan had a recurring role on The WB’s 7th Heaven as Matt Camden’s girlfriend, Shana Sullivan. She appeared in the ABC soap drama Push as swimmer Erin Galway. She has also starred in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, ER, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Starved, Close to Home, Kindred: The Embraced, and 90210. Flannigan has also appeared in cinema. She has appeared in Teenage Bonnie and Klepto Clyde (1993), National Lampoon’s Last Resort (1994), Written in Blood (2003), A Day Without a Mexican (2004), and Homecoming (2005). In 2010, she appeared in and co-produced the film Do Not Disturb. Flannigan currently operates her own production company.
