Her radio career began at WJYE-FM in Buffalo, where she was half of the morning radio team “Joe and Maryalice in the Morning.” Prior to broadcasting, Maryalice taught secondary school French and worked as a project manager at DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Broadcast awards are included in two Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Arts and Sciences’ New York Chapter. She has been the Executive Director of the Miss Buffalo Pageant (Miss America Preliminary) for a number of years and has sent numerous of her titleholders to Miss New York. She is the director of the Tonawandas Canal Fest Pageant and formerly served as the director of the Miss Erie County Fair Pageant. She is active in the community and works as a journalist.
