Kid Cudi is a rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, and fashion designer from the United States. He rose to prominence after his debut track, “Day ‘n’ Nite,” became an international smash. Cudi collaborated with Plain Pat and Emile Haynie on his debut full-length album, A Kid Named Cudi (2008). The mixtape helped Cudi gain popularity and build a fan base, which drew the notice of Kanye West, who signed him to his GOOD Music label imprint in late 2008.
