Joe Gilgun is an English actor best known for his roles in Sky One’s Brassic, ITV’s Emmerdale, the long-running ITV soap opera Coronation Street, the film This Is England and its subsequent spin-off series, and E4’s Misfits. From 2016 to 2019, he played the Irish vampire Cassidy in the AMC television adaptation of the Vertigo comic Preacher.
