Stuart was born in California to English parents Chad and Jill Gibson Stuart. Stuart spent most of his childhood in recording studios because his songwriting father was one-half of the 1960s British Invasion combo Chad & Jeremy. As a kid actor, he would persuade his parents to take him to nocturnal tapings of comedies like Happy Days and Mork and Mindy.

In a local performance of A Christmas Carol, he was seen by a talent agency and earned the role of Doctor Zee in the short-lived TV series Galactica 1980. His family relocated to Laguna Beach, California, where he attended high school. He studied drama at San Francisco State University for two years before leaving out in 1988 to return to Hollywood and study at Stella Adler’s acting school under Arthur Mendoza and Joanne Linville. His parents split, and his father had two subsequent marriages before dying in December 2020. He has an older brother, Andrew, a half-brother, Beau, and various stepbrothers and stepsisters.

James Patrick Stuart The Villains of Valley View

In the American comedy television series The Villains of Valley View, he played Vic / Kraniac, Amy’s father, who is a semi-competent crazy scientist with genius-level intellect who creates various inventions. Vic, in his civilian form, works as a substitute teacher at Valley View High School. Vic was revealed in the episodes “Family Secrets” and “Power Struggle” to be the previous superhero Silver Flame, whose pyrokinetic powers were taken away by his brother Blue Granite on his parents’ instructions after they discovered he was in love with Surge. Despite the fact that Vic’s powers were lost during his children’s attempt to retrieve them, Colby transfers his kinetic manipulation to Vic.

Vic is a deranged scientist who married Eva, an electrical supervillain.They have three children, Jake, Amy, and Colby, and were members of the League of Villains, which was led by the wicked Onyx and operated in the city of Centropolis. When Onyx chooses Slither over Eva for a promotion to Chief Commander, Amy attempts in vain to persuade Onyx to reconsider, and Onyx insults her family. Amy assaults Onyx in retribution, and her family flees. They finally settle in Valley View, Texas, under the pseudonym of the Madden family, where they try to live ordinary lives while avoiding the government, superheroes, and Onyx’s minions while befriending their landlady’s granddaughter Hartley.
