Storyline

A man known only as the “Stranger” held Joe Doucett captive for 20 years. Donna, Joe’s ex-wife, was raped and murdered, and his 3-year-old daughter Mia was adopted via the welfare system. After being rescued by Marie Sebastian, a nurse who offers to assist him, he manages to flee. A group of men led by the Stranger kidnaps Joe and Marie. Both of Joe’s children accuse their father of sexually abusing them and blame him for revealing the abuse to Joe. Joe is released from prison after three-year incarceration. The series is set to premiere in September. Joe and Marie are separated after Joe tells her they will never see each other again after they met in a hotel room near the end of the World Trade Center. Joe then writes his wife a letter informing her that he is leaving her for Chaney. He gives her the majority of the diamonds and uses the rest to compensate Chaney for his return.

Storyline

Vaughan Dunlap is a politically and socially aware black student at Atlanta’s Mission College, a historically black college. At the homecoming parade, the Gamma brothers almost come to blows with Dap and his fellow protestors.
