She went on to work for KXMB-TV in Bismarck, North Dakota, as a weekend anchor and weekday reporter. She went on to work at KX News as a reporter, producer, and anchor for both the evening and morning broadcasts, Good Day Dakota. She caught the TV bug while interning at UND’s Studio One as a Mass Communication major, and she’s been hooked on news ever since.
The Associated Press and the Midwest Broadcast Journalists Association have both given her writing and reporting prizes. Daisy, her first lovely child, brought an end to her nearly nine-year career at KX News. She chose to work as a freelance writer and editor while staying at home with her daughter. She went on to work for a non-profit organization and finally became the executive director of the Bismarck Library Foundation, Inc.
