He appeared as Michael Scofield in the American television serial drama Prison Break. Michael is Lincoln’s brother and before he was full-time in his brother’s company he worked as a structural engineer. Michael has developed an intricate scheme to help his brother escape jail in order to save his brother’s life. Paul Scheuring remembered in an interview that the majority of the actors who tested the part would play mysteriously, but this was so cheesy and fake. A week before production began, Miller auditioned for the performance and impressed Scheuring; he was cast the day afterward.

His first TV appearance was as student-turned-sea monster Gage Petronzi on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He played the younger version of the character Anthony Hopkins, Coleman Silk, in the 2003 film, The Human Stain. Miller was cast in Fox Network’s TV drama Prison Break as Michael Scofield in 2005. He was nominated for Best Actor in a drama series in 2005 by Golden Globe Award. Two Mariah Carey music videos included Miller’s It’s Like It and We Belong Together.  For the Stoker movie, Miller and a prequel to the movie Uncle Charlie have written the screenplay. His screenplay was voted blacklist of the top 10 screenplays of 2010. In July 2014, Miller joined Leonard Snart and Captain Cold’s cast The Flash in a recurring role. The screenplay adaptation of the novel The Tale of Edgar is currently under negotiation.

Wentworth Miller Legends of Tomorrow

He appears as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold in the American superhero television series Legends of Tomorrow. The son of a career criminal who uses a cryonic weapon to freeze items and people in touch with the fast and simple life of crime Trestyn Zradicka portrays the young Leo. Snart sacrifices to save his team at the end of the first season. In the second season, the Doom Legion recruited a previous version of Snart before joining the squad, promising to prevent his potential death.

After the loss of the Legion, Mick turns Snart back to the very moment when the Legion recruited him, wiping his memory and making sure that Snart can actually become part of the Legends. During the Earth-X crisis incident, Leonard Leo Snart introduces a parallel Earth-X world version; Leo is joining the Legends temporarily. The first introduction to the character was The Flash.
