Sue has forecasted everything from blizzards and thunderstorms to severe winds along the coast for the past two decades. She frequently shares the green screen in the studio with local children who have won the chance to “do the weather with Sue” to benefit local charities. One of her career highlights was letting actor Mark Wahlberg do her job on the air!

Sue was a co-anchor of WAKE-UP, the top-rated morning show on CBS affiliate WIVB-TV in Buffalo, N.Y., and co-anchored the station’s “News at Noon” before joining FOX 29. She previously worked as a weather anchor and feature reporter on the nightly broadcast at WHYY-TV 12 (PBS) in Philadelphia. Sue graduated with honors from Towson University in Maryland. She began her professional broadcasting career in radio at WMAR-FM in Baltimore while obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication. Sue went on to host other radio shows, including WBAL in Baltimore as a lunchtime host, WSTW in Wilmington, DE as a morning show co-host, WMGK in Philadelphia as the host and producer of the popular “Magic After Dark,” and WKSZ-FM as a morning show co-host.

Sue was a five-time Emmy candidate for weathercaster and got the Outstanding Individual Achievement Award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in November 1994. Mississippi State University awarded her a Certificate in Broadcast Meteorology in June 1995.

Sue is involved in the community, volunteering with the Media Theatre, Tyler Arboretum, the SPCA, and other organizations. She also serves as the Co-Chair of the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk in her community. She is on the Advisory Board of the Main Line Animal Rescue and has served on the Board of the Camden Children’s Garden.
