Inspector Clouseau is reassigned by Chief Inspector Dreyfus to join the detectives in Japan, the scene of the Tornado’s new heist, from his position as a parking officer. The Pink Panther diamond is stolen by the “The Tornado” master robber, and a “Dream Team” of investigators is formed by the French government to solve the crime. As Clouseaux’s girlfriend, Vincenzo, and Clouseou’s girlfriend, Nicole, encounter each other at a diner, the mission is compromised. The Hurricane takes the ring of the Pope, turning public opinion against the Band of Dreams. To learn that the Tornado has killed himself, ClouseAU is called to an office, leaving a suicide note saying he had lost the Pink Panther.
Nicole, thinking that Clouseau may be right because she, too, believed Sonia, asks Sonia to clear her wallet. Sonia continued to resist and wanted to leave but under intense pressure from Nicole, who still stopped her from going.
