Before enrolling at Davidson College, North Carolina, Anne studied at Pensacola High School, from where she graduated in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree. Right after graduation, Anne started working as a writer and publisher, and worked in the same profession until she met Steve Martin in the mid-2000s-she is mainly remembered for her contributions to “The New Yorker” magazine, but she has spent a period of time writing for “Vogue” magazine and has written reviews for many off-Broadway plays.
