She spent her free time shadowing reporters and leaped at the chance to work in front of the camera when a position as a traffic reporter became available. “I never expected to be able to work as a reporter for WWL-TV so early in my career. It’s still strange to be a part of the show that for so many people defines mornings in New Orleans “she explained.
Sheba spent her free time working on news stories. When Hurricane Isaac hit in 2012, she offered to help with hurricane coverage. Opportunity knocked again about a year later after a brief hiatus. There was a vacancy in the anchor position on the morning show. Sheba was promoted to a co-anchor position on the morning show. While I was in college, Sheba recalls seeing them in the mornings before school. I never would have believed I’d be sitting with them only a few years later. They’ve all been really supportive of my career, and I’ve learned a great deal from each of them.” She was also given the opportunity to host “The 504.”
