Sam Asghari worked as a personal trainer until 2015, when his sister Faye, who had moved from Iran to the United States, persuaded him to become a model. She took him to Michael Costello, a fashion designer and close friend of hers. Asghari was signed by Toyota to appear in its 2016 Toyota Super Bowl commercial after his first runway show in ‘Palm Springs.’ In the same year, he appeared in Fifth Harmony’s Work from Home music video as a construction worker. He was then cast in Britney Spears’ Slumber Party music video alongside her. Unbelievable!!!!! was his feature film debut in 2018.
Faye, Asghari’s sister, introduced him to modeling when he was 21 years old. His first runway show was in Palm Springs, California, for designer Michael Costello, a friend of Faye’s.
