Flynn joins the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful in May 2015 as Zende. Flynn confirmed in November 2016 that he had been cast in the film adaptation of Gretchen McNeil’s novel TEN, opposite China Anne McClain. Flynn appeared as a guest star in episodes of the CBS crime dramas NCIS: New Orleans and MacGyver in 2017. Flynn later appeared on OWN’s The Haves and the Have Nots.

Later that day, it was revealed that Flynn had landed a recurring part in the fourth and final season of Justin Simien’s Dear White People, which is also released by Netflix. Flynn has joined the cast of Amazon Studios’ Gloria Calderón Kellett With Love.
