Storyline

British medical student Martin E. Blake is moved to Southern California Hospital to commence his residency. In fact, Martin is a narcissist who longs to exert dominance over others. As his patient, 18-year-old Diane Nixon has a kidney infection that Martin treats. Diane and her family are hailing Martin as a hero, inflating his self-esteem.
