She is currently based in Michigan and working on her seventh print novel.Mañees previously published short stories and newspaper articles before her breakthrough novel, All for Love, in 1996. Her second novel, Wishing on a Star, became a blockbuster and received great reviews from critics. Mañees’ third novel, Follow Your Heart, won a 4½-star Gold Medal Top Pick Classic rating and the “Award of Excellence” from Romantic Times.

In May 1999, Romantic Times rated her fourth album, A Mother’s Touch, a four-star review. This anthology has Mañees’ tale, All the Way Home.
