Fishman’s acting career began when he met Roseanne Barr at an early audition. She requested him to tell her a joke. He worked on Roseanne from the age of six till fifteen.

On March 22, 2019, ABC confirmed that the show had been renewed for a second season. Fishman was not included as part of the returning core cast, but a network press statement stated that more cast members would be disclosed at a later date.

On October 5, 2020, Fishman confirmed that he would direct the seventh episode of the show’s third season. Despite being the seventh episode to be filmed, it aired as the Halloween special in the show’s second week. Fishman was informed that he will not return for season 5 of The Conners.

Fishman continued to act while attending Orange County High School of the Arts at Los Alamitos High School, where he studied Musical Theatre and Technical Theater.
