Melissa worked as a reporter and anchor at Syracuse’s WTVH-5 and WSYr-9 before returning home to work for WIVB-TV in Buffalo in 2005. The search for Phillips, Ralph “Bucky” and the Storm of Surprise, the arrest and conviction of the Bikepath Rapist, and the 2014 Storm of Snowvember, as well as Flight 3407, were among the major stories that touched Western New Yorkers.
