Luke Grimes debuted as a professional actor in Jonathan Levine’s horror film ‘All the Boys Love Mandy Lane’ in 2006. Grimes played Jake, a hot-headed and overly-sexual teenager who co-starred with Amber Heard, Anson Mount, and Whitney Able. Critics gave the film mixed reviews, and it was a moderate box-office success.
He also starred in the ABC program Brothers & Sisters as Ryan Lafferty, the illegitimate son of the show’s patriarch, William Walker. He became a series regular beginning with Season 4. He co-starred with Haley Bennett and Mary Steenburgen in the 2010 FX movie pilot Outlaw Country.
