Rinna invented the role of Billie Reed on NBC’s Days of Our Lives in 1992. She departed the show in 1995, but she has reprised the role in 2002, 2012, and 2018. From 1996 to 1998, she played Taylor McBride at Melrose Place at Aaron Spelling. Rinna presented Soap Talk from 2002 to 2006, a daily life that was broadcast on Soapnet. In 2007, in the episode “Malibooty,” she played Donna Devaney in Entourage, and in 2008, she starred in the musical comedy series Hannah Montana, Disney Channel. Rinna substituted Joan Rivers for the 2007 red carpet coverage of the TV Guide Network. In 2008, Rinna and Hamlin signed a contract to produce a family-based reality TV series.
