Lebron worked for the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office after graduating from law school. In the late 1990s, Lebron hosted the CourtTV law show Snap Judgement. Lionel then began appearing on the New York radio station WABC. He originally debuted on WFLA in Tampa, Florida, as a caller, drawing attention to himself by evading the topic of debate. Before coming to New York City, he was eventually given his own time slot on WFLA. Lebron replaced The Majority Report with Sam Seder on Air America Radio with a daily three-hour talk show beginning in May 2007. Seder said that LeBron’s unpopularity among Air America listeners resulted in the loss of the majority of Seder’s audience within a year of taking over the timeslot.
Lebron was ranked number 54 on Talkers Magazine’s 2010 “Heaviest Hundred” list and number 37 on its 2013 “Frontier Fifty” list. He received a New York Emmy Award for commentary and editorial writing in 2015. LeBron also made an appearance on an episode of House of Cards. He has appeared as a legal and political analyst on Russia’s RT network. Lebron shifted his politics to the right and re-established himself as a right-wing conspiracy theorist for Alex Jones’ InfoWars network, where he has used his show to promote conspiracy theories like birtherism (false claims that President Barack Obama was not born in the United States) and claims that the government is involved in a cover-up of the September 11 attacks.
He has been a proponent of the far-right conspiracy theory QAnon. LeBron met with President Donald Trump at the White House in August 2018 and was pictured with him. LeBron added that the two did not discuss QAnon, but that Trump “knows about” the conspiracy theory. LeBron has frequently hosted Jerome Corsi, a birther activist and QAnon proponent.
