Linden Ashby is a martial artist and actor from the United States best known for his roles in the final two seasons of the Fox soap opera Melrose Place, all six seasons of the MTV supernatural drama Teen Wolf, and Mortal Kombat, an adaptation of the video game franchise of the same name, released in 1995.

He was cast as Brett Cooper, a principal character on FOX drama soap Melrose Place in the American prime time television soap opera Melrose Place. Brett Sterling was a surgeon who had two marriages with Lexi Sterling. He was having an affair with Dr. Kimberly Shaw, whom he met while helping her recover from a car accident. Brett moved to Los Angeles after his divorce from Lexi Sterling and began dating Megan Lewis. He soon discovered that Lexi’s wealthy father had left him an inheritance that he could only obtain by remarrying her. Lexi was able to seduce Megan, causing her to leave him. Brett enticed Lexi to go sailing and then attempted to murder her during a storm.
He appeared as Johnny Cage, a Hollywood superstar who enters the tournament to prove to the world that his martial arts skills are legitimate in the 1995 American fantasy martial arts action film Mortal Kombat. For this film, Ashby studied karate, tae kwon do, and kung fu. Despite the intensity of the fight scenes and the actors performing the majority of their own stunts, on-set injuries were minimal; the only notable occurrence was Ashby’s bruised kidney during Cage’s fight scene with Scorpion.
Cage is portrayed as a typical American action movie star in Mortal Kombat 2. His outfit is based on Jean-Claude Van Damme’s character in Bloodsport. From MKII to MK4, he wears black pants with blue accents. In MK 2011, he wears the same outfit as in MKII, but with a few differences: he always wears his sunglasses, his chest is tattooed with his first name, the accents on his pants are blue, and his last name is engraved on his belt buckle. His design in Deadly Alliance onwards becomes a fusion of his first and familiar appearances, regaining the black shorts but with a Cage emblem and blue belt tied around his waist. He wears bandage straps on his feet and has dyed his brown hair blond. Cage also has a Chinese Dragon tattoo on his back and bandages around his wrists.
He was cast as Sheriff Noah Stilinski, Stiles’ father is initially reluctant to help his son and Scott with their escapades but is later brought into their supernatural secret in the American supernatural teen drama television series Teen Wolf. From then on, he assists his son by deploying police department resources to assist when possible. Sheriff Stilinski made an appearance in a number of the books. His son Stiles and best friend Scott McCall were bitten by an Alpha Werewolf in Wolf Moon. Stilinksi did not appear in Heart Monitor, but Stiles mentioned him several times. Stiles became extremely concerned after Scott escaped his restraints and fled from the McCall House during the full moon. He came across a crime scene and ran toward it, terrified that Scott had killed his father inadvertently.
His father, on the other hand, was simply investigating a car accident. After Harris was asked how to start a fire and get away with arson, the Hale House burned down. He was able to piece together that all of the victims were somehow connected to the Hale House Fire. Stilinski was in the hospital in Code Breaker when his son Stiles’ ex-boyfriend Jackson Whittemore informed him that Lydia Martin had been taken to the dance by his son. Stilsinski was forced to join the fight at the Hale house in the series’ final episode.
