Storyline
McClane and Farrell rush to the Woodlawn facility, where Farrell finds one of Gabriel’s men downloading financial data. As his team flees, Gabriel takes Farrell and Lucy with him. McClane takes over the semi-mobile base, stealing the F-35B Lightning II and killing Gabriel’s henchmen. The FBI requests that NYPD detective John McClane bring hacker Matthew Farrell to assist them in tracking down computer hackers. They come across a group led by hacker Mai Linh, who works for Thomas Gabriel. They assassinate the team, and Linh is killed after a struggle with McClane. The Woodlawn building is revealed to be an NSA facility designed by Gabriel to back up the nation’s personal and financial records in the event of a cyber attack.
