John joined TYT Network in January 2012 when he began co-hosting the TYT University show, alongside political commentator and TYT producer, Ana Kasparian. The show ran from March 15, 2011 to December 31, 2014 and it covered issues encountered by students in universities. It was later renamed as ThinkTank, the second most popular show on TYT Network on YouTube whose creator is Iadarola. He went on to become its main host as well as as an executive producer, alongside co-host Hannah Cranston, debuting on January 1, 2015. It also had different hosts as well as topics but its target demographic was the same.

While hosting ThinkTank, Iadarola also co-hosted other TYT shows such as The Young Turks, TYT Sports, What the Flick?!, Pop Trigger, TwentyTwelve, and The Point, among others. He began appearing in his own independent YouTube channel in May 2013. On the channel, he tackles such topics as those relating to foreign and domestic politics, technology, media criticism as well as social commentary on the news. He appeared on the series “The Ultimate Guide to Sounding Smart” on History Channel in 2017. In the same year, while co-hosting True North with Chavala Madlena, they traveled to the Arctic to shoot the docu-series as it covered the effects of climate change.

When TYT Network was included in the YouTube OTT service in May 2018, a new daily show was also announced, “The Damage Report”. Iadarola became one of the hosts of the show as well as a producer on the show.
