Storyline

Mary wishes to kiss a boy and approaches Matt for kissing advice. She tries to hide her new boyfriend Jeff from her family. She didn’t invite her family to an important basketball game because she thought it would make her nervous. Annie receives a call from their doctor, who informs her that Mary is pregnant, only to discover that the doctor messed up the results. Mary meets their future husband Carlos at a soup kitchen and invites him to their home for Christmas. Mary is sent to live with her grandparents in Buffalo after stealing from the twins’ piggy bank to pay her bills. Mary and a few team members break into the gym and vandalize it. While doing community service, Mary meets the love of her life, Robbie Palmer. Carlos surprises the family by announcing that Mary will give birth to twins on the wedding day. Mary finally admits what happened to her and Wilson, and she begins to make amends with the family.

Mary is left to contemplate Wilson’s marriage proposal, which becomes even more perplexing when she has a romantic encounter with a fellow firefighter trainee who expresses interest in her.
