Jared caught the acting bug early on and finally dropped out of school to focus solely on auditioning for his big break. He continued to hone his acting talents through classes, and his hard work paid off when he scored a T-shirt marketing campaign through a modelling agency. Jared’s career in television acting began by mistake when he accompanied his mother to a casting appointment set up by an agent expressly for his twin sister, Taylor. The agent decided to represent Taylor and Jared jointly. He soon began receiving many auditions for major prime time series. In 2009, he won his first job as Bobby Draper, the son of ‘Mad Men’ character Don Draper.
His role was recurring, and as a result, his face became familiar. His acting abilities earned him roles in television series and discussion programs such as ‘Roommates’, ‘Passion’, ‘Without a Trace’, ‘Men of a Certain Age’, ‘Eleventh Hour’, and ‘Hawthorne and Talkshow with Spike Feresten’. The most notable of his film appearances was in ‘The Backup Plan’, starring Jennifer Lopez.
