After appearing on TV series in the early 1970s, Ike Eisenmann rose to notoriety as Tony, Tia’s (Kim Richards) brother, in Walt Disney Productions’ films Escape to Witch Mountain (1975) and Return from Witch Mountain (1978). He voiced the Little Green Sprout in Green Giant advertisements during the 1970s and 1980s. In Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982), he played engineering cadet Peter Preston, the nephew of Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott. Eisenmann appeared in a variety of television shows, including CHiPs, Emergency!, T. J. Hooker, The Jeffersons, Wonder Woman, Kung Fu, Mannix, Little House on the Prairie, several episodes of Gunsmoke, and the ABC Afterschool Special.

In 1978, he appeared in two television films: Devil Dog: The Hound of Hell and Terror Out of the Sky. Eisenmann played Danny Baker, a New York subway graffiti artist attempting to professionally publish his art, in the 1982 made-for-television film Dreams Don’t Die. Though the picture was not a critical success, it achieved cult status on late-night rebroadcasts. Eisenmann continued to appear in minor television parts as a teenager, including on the sitcom The Jeffersons. In the 1978 miniseries The Bastard, he played the Marquis de LaFayette. In 2002, he directed and starred in the 12-minute satire film The Blair Witch Mountain Project. Eisenmann makes a surprise appearance in the 2009 Witch Mountain remake, Race to Witch Mountain, alongside his original co-star Kim Richards.
