Geno Segers Perfect Harmony
Segers appeared as Dwayne, Wayne’s best friend and a member of the choir secretly in love with Ginny in the American musical comedy television series Perfect Harmony. Arthur Cochran, a despondent music instructor, contemplates suicide after hearing bad singing and passes out. He finds out that the choir, coached by Ginny, is preparing for a competition. Arthur meddles in Ginny’s life, pressuring her to finalize her divorce and encouraging choir member Dwayne to reveal his sentiments. Despite their loss, the choir wins the “Most Improved Choir” title.
Arthur offends the county fair organizer, sparking rumors and resulting in a choir ban. Ginny tries to dispel rumors, but she ends up in a pie-eating contest. Jax assists Arthur in his assimilation efforts and wins a pig-chasing competition. Wayne acknowledges his ex-wife’s divorce. Arthur selects Ginny as the choir’s singer, but she declines due to stage fear.
Wayne enters the church, upsetting Jax. Arthur helps Ginny cope with her nervousness and improves her reading skills. Dwayne goes to Jax for guidance and incorrectly believes he’s an alcoholic. Ginny adopts a stage identity and performs at a bar, but then locks herself in the bathroom. Jax reveals the truth to Dwayne, and Wayne forgives him.
