Hamilton has previously worked for NBC News, CBS News, MTV, and Globestar Media/ND Promotions, an entertainment and music video promotion company. He also worked as a freelance music journalist for AllHipHop.com and for Columbia Records, a division of SONY BMG. Hamilton was the co-anchor of Mustang News[citation needed], the school’s in-house newscast that aired immediately after Channel One News.
