A few months later, she was selected as the main cast of the spin-off series ‘Teen Mom’, along with other teenage girls who appeared on ’16 and Pregnant’. The series followed the cast’s lives in the first few years after becoming mothers. As her television fame grew, she decided to pursue her passion for cooking and enrolled in a culinary arts and management course at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in Florida.
Her debut studio album, ‘My Teenage Dream Ended,’ was released on August 1, 2012, and she tried her hand at singing. The album was followed by a memoir of the same name, published on August 14, 2012. The book received mixed reviews, while the album received an overwhelmingly negative response from critics, who labeled her single “On My Own” as one of the worst pieces of pop music ever made. Farrah Abraham was cast as a main cast member in the fourth season of the VH1 reality show ‘Couples Therapy’ in January 2014. Brian Dawe, who was supposed to be her partner on the show, backed out at the last minute.
