Erica Tazel Justified
In Justified, she plays Rachel Brooks. She has been a series regular since the pilot episode “Fire in the Hole.” Aside from the tidbits of information provided during the six seasons, little is known about Rachel. Rachel was raised by her mother in Hendersonville, Tennessee, after her father died of cancer. Later, she relocated to Lexington, Kentucky. Rachel, the eldest of two sisters, was always left to care for her younger sister while her mother was at work.
Despite these additional obligations, Rachel completed high school, attended Ole Miss (University of Mississippi), and finally joined the Marshal’s Service as a Deputy US Marshal. After her sister was murdered in an auto accident and her brother-in-law survived, Deputy Marshal Brooks took in her nephew and reared him with the support of her mother. Despite the high stakes of her profession, she is always cool, collected, and takes her orders seriously. Art Mullen reveals in the Season 4 episode “Where’s Waldo?” that Rachel divorced her husband prior to the events of the fourth season.
Erica Tazel Firefly
She appeared as Doralee in the American space-western drama television series Firefly. Doralee was a teacher who also worked as a nurse in a remote hill town on Jiangyin. She was a profoundly religious Christian who was initially quite nice to Simon Tam and his sister River Tam, who had been taken by Stark for the town. Doralee greeted the Tams and attempted to persuade Simon that this would be their new home. Doralee asked the local people to kill River Tam for being a witch after discovering she had psychic talents after reading the thoughts of a mute girl. Despite Simon’s attempts to reason with her, she rang the town bell, and after River enraged the town patron, the townspeople planned to burn both Tams alive. The Serenity team saved the siblings.
Erica Tazel The Good Fight
On the Paramount+ series The Good Fight, she plays Barbara Kolstad. Barbara Kolstad is a founding partner at Reddick, Boseman & Kolstad, Diane and Maia’s new legal firm after the financial scandal.
Following the financial crisis that devastated Maia Rindell’s image and her mentor Diane Lockhart’s savings, The Good Wife returns with a new series. Diane, Lucca, and Maia, the three female leads, join a prestigious African American business, Reddick, Boseman & Kolstad, where they encounter concerns such as the alt-right, the MeToo movement, online harassment, and fake news.
