Eli Goree is a Canadian actor. He is most recognized for his roles as Quincy in HBO’s Ballers, Malik in Da Kink in My Hair (2007-2009), and Wells Jaha in the post-apocalyptic drama series The 100 (2014-2017).

He began his acting career at the age of six on Sesame Park, Canada’s equivalent of Sesame Street. In 2003, he presented The Big Black Rap Show on Dalhousie University’s campus radio station, CKDU-FM. In 2006, he was one of the hosts for the final season of the CBC television series Street Cents. In the same year, he started working as a freelance journalist for Canada Now. Goree graduated from Prince Andrew High School. From 2007 to 2009, he starred as Malik in the popular Global TV series Da Kink in My Hair. He also appeared in the Vision television series Soul. Goree played Jake in the critically praised play Secrets of a Black Boy, which debuted in 2009.
From 2010 to 2013, he participated in the mockumentary Pure Pwnage, as well as cameo appearances on The CW’s fantasy horror series Supernatural, The CW’s medical drama Emily Owens, M.D., Showcase’s sci-fi miniseries Eve of Destruction, and CTV’s police crime drama Motive. In 2014, he was cast as Wells Jaha, a major character in The CW’s post-apocalyptic thriller The 100. His first important part in a feature film came in 2016’s sports drama Race. Goree portrayed Joel, a prominent character in the Freeform horror thriller Dead of Summer. He portrayed Conner, an amputee war veteran, in Amazon Prime Video’s science fiction series The Peripheral.
