He eventually became the CBBC Channel’s senior continuity presenter, co-hosting the afternoon connections with Oucho T Cactus. The team eventually hosted Ed and Oucho’s Excellent Inventions and a weekend morning show called Transmission Impossible with Ed and Oucho. In 2008, he was nominated for a BAFTA in the Best Children’s Presenter category, and when CBBC won Best Children’s Channel, he collected the award.
