Catherine Clark Career
During the 2000 federal election, she was heavily involved in Joe Clark’s campaign. She began her broadcasting career in 2001, anchoring Unzipped, a television news magazine for the newly launched Canadian digital cable network ichannel. The show was discontinued the following year due to budgetary restrictions and questionable content on the network, but Clark remained with the network in various positions. In 2004, she joined Rogers Television to broadcast a daily chat show in Ottawa.
She founded Catherine Clark Communications, a marketing and public relations agency, in December 2017. Clark took a break from television after her daughter’s birth and then joined CPAC, the Canadian legislative broadcaster. With CPAC, she hosted Sunday Sound Off, a political debate and panel discussion show, and Beyond Politics, a chat show in which she interviewed Canadian politicians about their lives outside of politics.
