Annie Sabo Career

She hosted both teams’ pre- and post-game shows. She later joined Bally Sports Ohio to cover her father Chris’s previous team, the Cincinnati Reds. She declined multiple tennis scholarships, including one from the University of Dayton, to attend her father’s alma mater, the University of Michigan, where she graduated in 2015. She started her career in television at KRIS in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she worked for two years before moving on to WFLA-TV in Tampa, Florida, where she also worked for two years before joining Bally Sports North.

She flew to Pyeongchang, South Korea to cover the 2018 Winter Olympics while at WFLA-TV and worked with Steve Andrews, whose daughter Erin Andrews encouraged Sabo to become a sportscaster. In 2019, she took over as host of Wolves Live from Tom Hanneman. In July 2021, Sabo announced her departure from Bally Sports North in order to return to Florida to be closer to her family and prepare for her wedding. She joined the Big Ten Network shortly after leaving Bally Sports North to work on the B1G Tailgate show for the 2021 season. Following her appearance on Opening Day in 2022, she added pre-game and post-game duties for her father’s old team, the Reds, for Bally Sports Ohio.
