In August 2012, Allen appeared on MasterChef Australia All-Stars. In the eleventh season, he reappeared as a professional Secret Chef and lost an Immunity Pin Challenge to Sandeep Pandit by a perfect score of 30. His score was kept private until it was revealed on Facebook.
