She worked at WBBJ-TV in Jackson, Tennessee, as a reporter, anchor, editor, columnist, and producer before joining Fox 19 News. In 2008, Alison joined WLWT-TV channel 5 as an anchor, reporter, and traffic reporter. She worked here till 2014 when she departed just before her daughter was born.
