Alexander Jerome Gould is an American actor. His acting career started when he was two years old. He is most known for voicing the main character in the Pixar animated feature Finding Nemo and for his role as Shane Botwin on the Showtime drama series Weeds.

His acting career started when he was two years old. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, he played minor roles in a variety of popular television shows. At the age of nine, he landed the lead part in Finding Nemo. He then played David Collins in the remake of the soap opera Dark Shadows, but The WB rejected the pilot episode. Gould starred in the Showtime series Weeds from the ages of eleven to eighteen. He played Shane Botwin throughout all eight seasons. He was nominated twice for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series at the SAG Awards. During his stay, he also appeared in guest appearances on other shows, was a member of the ensemble cast of the 2006 film How to Eat Fried Worms, and voiced Bambi in Bambi II. Gould left his acting profession in 2012 to pursue other interests, including attending college. During this time, he received two minor voice acting roles: Jimmy Olsen in the 2013 animated film Superman: Unbound and a cameo in Finding Dory (2016). In 2018, he joined Abrams Acting Agency.
