Himbel is an American schoolteacher and journalist. He currently serves as the dean of St. Bonaventure University’s Jandoli School of Communications. He previously taught journalism at Texas Christian University. He worked as the MoJo, or mobile journalist, for WFAA-TV’s website, wfaa.com, in Dallas, Texas. He became WFAA’s first digital field reporter in February 2006. He was among the first of a new breed of journalists to create unique multi-media material for a TV station’s website. Before joining WFAA, Aaron worked as a reporter for KWTX-TV in Killeen, Texas, covering Fort Hood, Killeen, Temple, and the surrounding area. He formerly worked as a producer for Texas Cable News (TXCN) in Dallas. He also co-produced the documentary Soldier of God (2003). He became WFAA’s first digital field reporter in February 2006. He was among the first of a new breed of journalists to create unique multi-media material for a TV station’s website.
