Prince Chiu Biography
Prince Chiu is a singer, actor, model, and television host from Taiwan. He was the second person chosen to form the six-member boy group Lollipop from the television music reality show “Bang Bang Tang Taipei.” From 2006 to 2008, the group was active. From 2011 to 2015, Wang Zi was a member of the boy band JPM.

Mao Di, his younger brother, was a former member of Choc7 and is now one of Chiu’s co-members in JPM, a mandopop band signed to Sony Music Taiwan. He received his high school diploma from Zhuangjing Senior Vocational School. He continued his studies in English at Hsing Wu University after graduating. Later on, he transferred to Tungnan University.
Prince Chiu Lollipop
Chiu attended the Bang Bang Tang audition (BBT) in Taipei in 2006 and was chosen to appear in the “Bang Bang Tang” variety show. The six members of the boy band Lollipop were revealed on November 27. Chiu was revealed as the second member after Liao Xiao Jie. On December 2, 2006, Lollipop officially signed a contract with EMI Capitol, and on December 9, 2006, the group performed publicly for the first time.
Colorful Lollipop, Lollipop’s first EP, was released on January 26, 2007, with six different covers, each featuring a member of the group. Four months later, on May 25, a second EP titled Summer’s First Experience was released, along with a photobook and DVD featuring photos taken in Okinawa. Chiu and the other members of Lollipop made their acting debut in the drama Brown Sugar Macchiato, a collaboration with Hey Girl, during the summer of 2007.
Since August 14, 2006, Lollipop has been a regular on Bang Bang Tang. Their final official episode aired on August 29, 2008, bringing the first season to a close. Lollipop made its first lyric contributions to other artists in 2009, which were included in the Choc7 mini album. I Am Legend, Lollipop’s second album, was released on June 19, 2009. Lollipop’s contract with Channel [V] Taiwan for artist management expired at the end of 2009. On January 11, 2011, Chiu and Liao Xiao Jie decided to reunite and form a new group called JPM with Chiu’s brother, Mao Di. JPM finally released their first album, Moonwalk, on August 26, 2011. Chiu wrote the lyrics for three songs and composed two others for this album.
