The hit ‘Fox’ show ‘So You Think You Can Dance came to Witney’s hometown for auditions when she was 18 years old. She auditioned and was chosen as one of the season’s participants. She quickly advanced to the top 20 finalists. She was paired with talented dancer Chehon Wespi-Tschopp in the final stage. She and her partner were among the top ten finalists. At the time, the finalists were required to switch partners every week. She made it to the top six by collaborating with a new partner each week. However, she was eliminated in the episode that aired on September 5, 2012, and finished the show as the second runner-up among the ladies.

In 2013, she was cast as a troupe dancer on another popular dance reality show, ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ for the sixteenth season. She also danced and choreographed. She was hired to do the same job for the show’s next season as her choreography skills improved. In the eighteenth season, however, she was promoted to professional dancer and choreographer and was to be paired with a celebrity.
