Holland was raised by her two sisters, Brianna Holland and Piper De Palma. Holland only stayed at Palisades Charter High School for six weeks because her acting career was taking off and her peers were dismissive of her acting ambitions. She was seven years old when she was playing at her stepfather’s neighbor’s house in The Hamptons, New York. Steven Spielberg, a neighbor, was filming home videos and informed Holland’s parents.

She played Kaitlin Cooper in the third and fourth seasons of the Fox drama series The O.C., filling in for Shailene Woodley, who left the show. Cooper was a minor character who rose to prominence in Season 4 of “The O.C.” Shailene Woodley (in Season 1) and Willa Holland both played her (in Season 3 and 4). Kaitlin Cooper is the younger sister of the well-known: Marissa Cooper, the daughter of Julie and her ex-husband: Jimmy Cooper, and the older half-sister of an unnamed child. She appeared as Agnes Andrews, a recurring character in the Gossip Girl television series. Agenes is introduced as a model for Eleanor Waldorf in Pret-a-Poor-J. She meets Jenny Humphrey, an intern at the atelier, and they develop a friendship. Jenny’s outfit impresses Agnes when they meet after work at a bar. Jenny realizes she made a mistake when Agnes leaves in the outfit she needs to duplicate for Eleanor. The next day, Agnes arrives at the atelier and shows Jenny photos taken by her boyfriend, Max. Jenny agrees to leave Eleanor because she is attempting to steal Jenny’s designs. They reunite later after she has left, and return to Agnes’ to hang out.
Agnes appears for the final time in the series finale New York, I Love You XOXO, when she discovers who Gossip Girl is. They end up dancing in their bras, but the fun is short-lived when Nate Archibald arrives. Agnes reappears in The Empire Strikes Back when Eleanor rehires her to work with Jenny. Agnes is still enraged by Jenny’s past issues and drugs her at Eleanor’s fashion show. Jenny decides to strike out on her own, and when Agnes discovers this, she burns all of Jenny’s dresses and throws her out of her apartment. Bring Jenny home.

She voiced Aqua in the English versions of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage-, and Kingdom Hearts III.
Aqua is a protagonist in the Kingdom Hearts series who first appeared in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. She is one of the three Keyblade wielders who came before Sora, along with Terra and Ventus. She was the only one of the three to become a Keyblade Master at the expense of her freedom and the safety of her friends.

She appeared as Thea Queen, main role from season 1-6, special guest star in season 7, and recurring role in season 8 of The CW superhero drama series Arrow from 2012 to 2020.
